Every soccer field you stepped on, you changed for the better. I was fortunate to learn such a great game from such a great teacher! Everything you taught me will always have a special place in my head and heart. You will be greatly missed!

Sjef van Eijk (Eindhoven)

At the celebration of one of the PSV championships Jan handed my mother a rose. She is nearly 85 now but still remembers it fondly. Condolences to the family and in spirit we send a rose to Beaumont.

The smile that makes you laugh, the hug that holds you tight, the knack for making everything seem alright.

Jan you have given so much to everyone you know.

Seems like you always saved the best for the rest of us. Forever with kindness in your eyes, our hearts are heavy, the load is much .. the memory of your friendship is worth the weight.

Thank you from all of us.
We send our love, thoughts and prayers to the VanBeveren Family.

Charlie Kadupski (Plano, TX)

The fans gathered, they waited. They knew the "flying Dutchman" would appear.

Some of the best and a lasting friendships would survive old age, injury and retirement.

Tonight, I will reflect on one of finest men I have ever known and had the pleasure to call my friend and teammate. Jan was simply one of the best ambassadors of the game and life.

He will be missed by everyone, of this I am certain. My thoughts and prayers are with the entire VanBeveren family.
