Mrs. Willis, Donna and Matt and families:

My heartfelt sympathies go out to all of you. Mr. Willis leaves a legacy of living all of the great "C"s that people spend a lifetime to accomplish. He performed it daily with everyone with Care, Concern, Compassion and Commitment.

It is a great honor to be able to mold young people and influence them toward a positive outcome and he respected that privilege and used it carefully to reach his goal.

A great man and a life well lived! Well done Mr. Willis!
I wish I could be with you today but know you are all in my thoughts and prayers.
Sincerely
Terry Faye

Matt, I was very sad to hear about your Dad. He will be missed a lot not only by you and your family but also the many friends he made throughout his life. I very much enjoyed our many conversations at the coffee shop. He did like his coffee breaks and his scratch-off's. He was a strong force to many people just starting out in their adult lives. He will be remembered as a great man. God bless you and all your family. Sincerely, Jeff

Jesse Evans (Austin, TX)

A man that knew no color, all students were treated equally, regardless of race or the color of their skin. Even after graduation, this was a man that remembered you as if you were still one of his students in school. I will miss standing behind him at Speedy Stop getting those lotto tickets and sharing a good conversation. Truly a wonderful man i still respected. I am sure he will be greatly missed by everyone, family, friends and neighbors alike. RIP

My thoughts and prayers go to the family of Mr. Willis at this time. He had a good heart, and as a principal at East Chambers in the 1970's, you knew not to cross the line with him, but yet knew he had a heart of gold, and he only wanted the best for the students. He had a twinkle in his eyes when he smiled, and that's how I remmeber Mr. Willis

So sorry for your loss. Mr. Willis was a very kind man and we all loved him and look back very fondly to our high school years with him as our principal. You will all be in my thoughts and prayers.
