MARY LOUISE THOMAS RAIFSNIDER (GLEN ROSE, TX)

Bea and family,
I was so saddened when Aunt Dorothy told me about Ray.
I am Uncle Eli's oldest grandchild. I had not seen Ray in many years but thought of him often. I am sdo glad I got to talk to him last year. He was one of the sweetest persons I have ever known. I wish we had known sooner so I could have been there. Ray was one of my favorite people. I'll always remember his smile and those twinkling blue eyes. He always had time to play with us when we came to Itasca. My prayers are with you and the family. Bea take care of yourself. we all loved Ray and I pray that God will comfort and bless all of you.
Love and prayers,
Mary Louise Thomas Raifsnider and the Wiginton family

Mary Ellen McBride Robertson (Beaumont, TX)

So sorry to hear of your loss. I have such good memories of Mr. Willis when he was the principal at East Chambers. Especially when he taught me and my best friend Marsha to drive in his truck. I think he may have been a little scared, but he handled it like a champ! I am not sure if he did anymore driver's education after that experience however. I am sure we will all miss his kind smile and his quiet manner. Sorry I could not make the funeral.

Matt, my heart goes out to you and your family. Mr Willis was definitely a man who was concerned about all of his students. God Bless and keep you all.
