Dear Tony's family,
I am so sorry for your loss. Tony was a great colleague and an excellent department chair when I taught with him at Lamar University. I know he was the rock of the DSDE program, and he mentored me and other faculty in grant writing. I enjoyed my time with him and other professor colleagues as we taught together at Lamar. He will be missed by so many.

At the LU Montaigne Center, our family sat in a nearby row at Lamar basketball games for almost 25 years next to Tony and his family. We frequently shared laughter, family news and celebrations, and support for the home team.
