Mrs. Stone was one of my most influential teachers. She made grammar memorable and taught me the importance of a good outline! The knowledge of language that I learned from her has served me well in both my personal and professional endeavors. Mrs. Stone was certainly a fun, quirky, and dedicated teacher that I will never forget. Monday, April 21, 2014 |

Mrs. Nettie Stone was no less than a treasure! How sad to hear of her passing. Oh the laughs that she gave everyone in her classes while sneakily teaching them things! What a wonderful legacy she left in her students and I'm sure coworkers. May God give you strength during the loss of such a wonderful, strong and loving woman! Monday, April 21, 2014 |

Thank you, Stone family, for sharing your mother/grandmother/great grandmother with the community. Mrs. Stone was a treasure, and touched the lives of everyone she came in contact with. Some of my favorite memories of being younger involve the GT trips she so kindly took us on, or working on the yearbook under her guidance. I know loss is difficult, but I hope that the warm memories of love and happiness bring you solace in the days ahead. Monday, April 21, 2014 |
