My deepest condolences to the Stone family and may the Lord be with you all during this difficult time and keep you close.
What a wonderfully pleasant and inspiring person! I was very blessed to have known Ms. Stone during my junior high years through English but also UIL and Red Cross. She generously gave of her time and talents so that her students could flourish. Her kindness and patience will never be forgotten.
Heaven has gained a new angel!
A sincerely heartfelt "Thank You" to the family for sharing her with all the students of H-F.

Wendi, I'm sorry to hear about the passing of your grandmother and legend of Hamshire-Fannett. It has been years since junior high but how quickly I remember her sweetness and love for the Longhorns! She was a kind and loving woman.
Sincerely, Piper Tuesday, April 22, 2014 |

What a great lady and teacher, Mrs. Stone, has left a huge place in our world to be filled. I had her as a teacher and remember her smile, humor and kindness and her riding in the VW Bug with Mrs. Valley. Mostly though I appreciate her teaching my children as well knowing they had a teacher that would be sure they were learning as well as encouraging them with a kind word! You were a blessing to many a HF student! Monday, April 21, 2014 |
