James, Bethlyn & Juanita..........our hearts are so sad. Bethlyn, thank you for your sweet thoughtful note to let us know. What a fine, fine man he was. He was our first pastor at Ashford! And he created an unbreakable bond with us and many more long time friends in that church. We will miss him. But we will see him again one day. He has left some awesome footprints on this earth!
In HIS Love, Marilyn & Larry Harman

Jim was our pastor at Ashford UMC in Houston. Our friendship with Jim lasted long after he left for other assignments. In recent months, he was a book coach for Elaine. He was always calm and insightful--a truly spiritual individual. One always felt uplifted after a chat with Jim. May he rest in peace. Blessings to the family.

Jim was a great man. Very spirit-filled, and loved praying with our Brothers in White during Kairos weekends. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

A true angel. Dr. Killen married Jim and I and then later baptized our first child, William, before retiring from Trinity and so we have many wonderful memories that include him. He was an amazing mentor and led by example. He will be forever in our hearts.
Love and prayers to Juanita and his family.
