Diane Marie Baker

Thanks for all you did for so many children. You wil be missed by so many. Until we meet again, rest in sweet peace.

Very saddened to learn of Diane's passing. She was a great example of kindness and generosity. As a colleague I admired her dedication to our profession and to the many students, whose hearts she touched. Her untimely passing leaves a giant void in the hearts and minds of all of us who knew her...what a great person!

No one could cook up a tasty burger in a refrigerator like Diane. Just one more of her millions of talents. See you again some day! I can't wait for you to show me around.

Thank you for being such a HUGE influence in my life. I am beyond blessed to have had you teach and inspire me, as well as my son. You taught me it's ok to be who I want to be...dance in the stands, sing OUT LOUD, but march a straight line and for goodness sake, POINT THAT TOE! There are those special people who come into our lives that god puts in our path and I believe you were one of them...Thank you for EVERYTHING. Rest In Peace Pattycake.

In the school year of 1973-74. This very special lady was introduced to our band, at Nederland High School, as our guest student teacher. The rest is history. We could do nothing less, but, completely fall in love with her, and, let her wrap us around her little finger. Anything she would ask you to do, you were glad to try, and, give it your best effort while you did it. It was a pleasure to know you these many years, Diane. You are greatly loved, and, will be greatly missed. We will see you soon. Say hello to Wayne, and, Raul for me.

Ms Baker was a truly special lady and teacher of young boys and girls. I had the pleasure and privilege of traveling with her and my 3 kids on various band trips. I and my 3 kids, Ali, Christopher, and Amy, all are better people because of Ms Baker.

Beloved teacher, mentor, leader, but most of all shining example of God's pure love, you will be truly missed. I can only wait to see you when I arrive at the gates. Rest in peace in heaven, knowing you have done far beyond well on earth.

You never gave up on me and for that I'm grateful. I was in band at CBJ and I don't think I would of stuck with it for three years if it hadn't been for you pushing me to excel and being the only girl. #GIRLPOWER I will be praying for your family.
