David Grant

David Grant, 37, of Port Neches, died Sunday, July 31, 2016, at M.D. Anderson Cancer Center, Houston. He was born on October 17, 1978, in Port Arthur, to Pam LeMaire Grant and Bryan Grant.

David enjoyed playing golf and coaching girls softball. He was a dedicated employee of Baker Corp and thought of his coworkers and customers as his family. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father, son, coach, and friend.

He is survived by his wife, Lacie Grant of Port Neches; daughters, Promise and Serenity Grant; parents, Bryan and Pam Grant; brother, Jeremy Grant and his wife, Kristen, of Nederland; nieces and nephews, Kamden, Kooper, Kynlee, and Kaylee; and sister-in-law, Angie.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions for Mr. Grant may be made to Grant’s Guardians, 2030 Dylan Drive, Nederland, Texas 77627.

A gathering of Mr. Grant’s family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, August 3, 2016, at Broussard’s, 505 North 12th Street, Nederland. His funeral service will be 10:00 a.m., Thursday, August 4, 2016, at First Baptist Church, 1911 Nederland Avenue, Nederland, with his interment to follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park, Port Neches.
