Eldine Babineaux Risher, 92, of Beaumont, died Thursday, January 7, 2016, at Dubuis Hospital, Beaumont. She was born on November 3, 1923, to Julia LeDoux Babineaux and Sevan Babineaux, in Eunice, Louisiana.

Survivors include her daughters, Linda Thibaut and her husband, Jim, of Beaumont; Peggy LeBar and her husband, Dick, of The Woodlands; and Susan Lyle of Beaumont; grandchildren, Jeannine Shellenberger and her husband, Gib; Christine Thibaut; Kathleen Berryman and her husband, Jonathan; Lauree Chapman and her husband, Shane; Kris LeBar; Charlie LeBar and his wife, Kate; David Pecora; Jonathan Pecora; Michael Pecora; Kim Holt; and Crystal Lyle; and great-grandchildren, Katelynn Schneider, Henry Berryman, Rose Berryman, Rylee Chapman, Lincoln Chapman, Taylor LeBar, and Ethan Pecora.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Luther Martin Risher, Jr.; son, James Edward Risher; and daughter, Nancy Rose Pecora.

A gathering of Mrs. Risher’s family and friends will begin at 4:00 p.m. with a Christian Vigil at 6:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 12, 2016, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated a 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, January 13, 2016, at St. Jude Thaddeus Catholic Church, 6825 Gladys Avenue, Beaumont. Her interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Beaumont.
