John "J.W." Wiley Cherry

John “J.W.” Cherry, 62, of Tyler and formerly of
Vidor, died Friday, February 6, 2015. He
was born on March 30, 1952, in Vidor, to Sarah Talley Cherry and Leon
Cherry.
Survivors include his siblings,
Walter Cherry and his wife, Dale Ann, of Evadale; Ann Flanakin and her husband,
Rusty, of Silsbee; Mickey Cherry and his wife, Connie and Joe Cherry and his
wife, Janet, all of Buna; Laura Luxton and her husband, Sam, of Florida; Janice
Bevil and her husband, Kendal, of Port Neches; and Sarah Cherry of Washington; and several
nieces and nephews. He is preceded in
death by his parents; and sister, Becky Rhodes.
A gathering of Mr. Cherry’s
family and friends will begin at 12:00 p.m., with his funeral service at 1:00
p.m., Wednesday, February 11, 2015, at Broussard’s, 490 Cemetery Road, Silsbee, with his
interment to follow at Williamson
Cemetery, Vidor.
