Charles "Bubba" Michael LaRocca

Charles
Michael “Bubba” LaRocca, 42, of Lumberton, died Thursday, January 15, 2015, at
Harbor Hospice, Beaumont. He was born on February 17, 1972, in Beaumont, to
Brenda Sue Eaves Hughes and Charles Lawrence LaRocca, and had been lifelong
resident of the area.
Bubba
worked as a Senior Officer Specialist at the Federal Correctional Institution,
Beaumont-Federal Bureau of Prisons for many years, and retired in 2014. Because of his love for the outdoors, he was
an avid hunter and fisherman. Bubba was also a member of Praise Church, Beaumont.
He had a love for life and will be greatly missed.
He
is survived by his wife, Christie LaRocca; sons, Brenden LaRocca, of Beaumont, and
Noah LaRocca and Kaleb Mitchell, both of Lumberton; daughters, Danielle Reeves,
of Village Mills, Kenedie King, of Mauriceville, and Charlie LaRocca, of
Beaumont; grandsons, Dominic Reeves and Kaedin Reeves; father, Charles LaRocca
and his wife, Leann, of Beaumont; and sisters, Brandi Hernandez, of Lumberton and
Nicki LaRocca, of Beaumont.
Bubba
was preceded in death by his mother, Brenda Sue Hughes.
A
gathering of Mr. LaRocca’s family and friends will be from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00
p.m., Friday, January 16, 2015, at Broussard’s, 2000 McFaddin Avenue, Beaumont.
His funeral service will be 2:00 p.m., Saturday, January 17, 2015, at
Broussard’s, with his interment to follow at Magnolia Cemetery, Beaumont.
