My prayers go out for your family, children, and one of the strongest women around, your loving wife Christie. She has your mini me (Noah) to keep her strong.
You have touched so many lives and through many friends in different places I have seen how small the world is in the last few days. Whether it was through a child that was a friend of Charlies or a friend that had a child taught by Mrs. LaRocca everyone knew Charles, Bubba, Roc, Rocco or LaRocca. You were a great friend and will be greatly missed. I didn't get to go on any of the hunts with you but I wish I could have. You did only beat me at the last archery tournament because my rest was messed up, I guess you will have a head start on perfect practice but I still want my rematch ! Miss you brother ! Until we meet again.

You will be missed my brother. There will be no more drilling holes in the floors up there! I know you will be there to walk the tiers with your BOP family, and will watch out for us as if you were here all along.

You fought a hell of a fight my friend. Now rest easy and rest up. Because the day we meet again we will have a lot of catching up to do.

Christie you and the kids will be in my thoughts and prayers! If you all need anything, please do not hesitate to reach out.

I am so sorry for your families loss. I worked with LaRocca at USP Beaumont. He was always so nice and always making everyone smile & laugh. He was an Outstanding Officer... and always willing to help anyone. I pray he is at peace. I also pray God provides all his family and friends a Peace that Surpasses All Understanding.

Charles was a really nice guy. I worked with him at the LeBlanc Unit back in the 90's. My thoughts and prayers go out to the family. God bless.

“I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.”
2 Timothy 4:7

We scouted & hunted woods new as well as ones familiar sharing the grand joys of the outdoors God created for man.

Thank you for all the great memories. Your laugh, your smile, the hunting & fishing stories, and the privilege of witnessing the bond and brotherhood you shared with all of us.

You’ve gone on the trip we will all take one day. And, knowing you, you’ll be telling them what to fix and change before we get there.

As you roam the big outdoors in the sky and fish in the waters of heaven. I ask this while you’re there, prepare a spot me & all your comrades for one day we too will journey
towards the sky to join you.

While writing this I realize, I may have lost a friend on earth, but I have gained an angel in the heavens.

As hard as it may seem we must remember not to mourn our loss but to celebrate the life and time you shared with us. My prayers go out to your family and all who shared in your time on earth.

Thanks for looking out, brother, until we meet and hunt again in the field above!
