Reverend Ed. W. Wilson, 67, of Beaumont,
died Thursday, January 30, 2014. A native of Amarillo, Texas, he was born to
Margaret Dorothya Seibel Wilson and Frank Poyntz Wilson, Jr. on December 8,
1946.
Survivors include his son, Matt Wilson
and his wife, Kim, of Waco; daughters, Amye Wilson and her boyfriend, Daniel
Hartfield, of Austin, and Erin Wilson Chrisman and her husband, Bill, of Waco; foster
daughter, Sherrill Brooks Magnuson; brother, Jim Wilson and his wife, Jayne, of
Kansas City, Missouri; sister, Pamela McAffrey and her husband, Terry, of
Amarillo; grandchildren, Holly Chrisman, Hailey Chrisman, Chrissy Chrisman,
Kaitlin Wilson, and Zachary Wolfe; and one granddaughter on the way, Sophia
Annette Wilson.
A gathering of Reverend Wilson’s family
and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, February 4, 2014,
at Broussard’s, 2000 McFaddin Avenue, Beaumont. His funeral service will be at
11:00 a.m., Wednesday, February 5, 2014, at Calder Baptist Church, 1005 North 11th
Street, Beaumont, with a private family committal service to follow at
Broussard’s Crematorium, Beaumont.
