Remembering wonderful conversations with Ed when I worked with him for a short time at Calder Baptist Church. Knowing he is new, strong, healthy and happy, working even closer with our Lord, is a comfort. Always ready with a great idea, solution, encouragement, warm smile and an "ah, yes", for anyone with a doubt or need. Knowing our Lord was pleased with his compassion for others and his totally giving spirit, I feel a sadness that he didn't leave enough time for himself. Prayers for his family and friends, and thank you Ed for loving us all. Elaine Senters

I would like to express my deepest sympathies to Ed's family. I have wonderful memories of Eddie from those Wilson family reunions in Amarillo, and our family get togethers with the Wilsons in Bovina, Texas, when I was younger. It is obvious from the posts that Eddie was a tremendously possitive force who influenced many lives, and was a blessing to his church and community. Peace be with you, Eddie, and all of our best to your family. Sincerely, Rob (Robby) Dyer, Georgetown, Texas

Amye, Erin and Matt, I am honored to have known your dad. He truly walked the walk and made everyone he met feel welcomed and loved. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

I am just heart-broken about Eddie's passing. He was such a wonderful friend to my sister, Joan, and me. I remember his musical performances ALWAYS exceeded my expectations. One summer we all went to Granbury, TX and sang a bunch of old songs in this theater. Fortunately, I was sitting next to Eddie could keep me on key! (He performed miracles back then, too.) Eddie is gone too soon, but what a difference he made in our lives. Love to everyone, Nancy

There are no words to express the sadness that has occurred. Mr.Ed was a great person and I enjoyed getting to sing in the church choir with him for 2years. I know he is conducting a choir full of angels and they are all experiencing the joy we all had! RIP Mr. Ed

To the Family of Mr. Wilson: I would like for you to know that my thoughts and prayers are with you during this time. Mr. Wilson was and will always be a great part of my life. There are so many wonderful memories I have of him, from having lunch together with him along with my dad to the beautiful message he wrote to me when I graduated high school. Mr. Wilson's kindness and comfort will surely be missed, but his spirit will always live on.

I served as organist at Lake Shore Baptist Church in Waco for several years when Ed Wilson was music director, and count it a privilege to have worked alongside him as he prepared the choir for worship each week. I will always remember his music, his insights, and his laughter that brought us all closer to God. My sympathy to his family and friends.
