Lurlene "Chris" Christell Busch

Lurlene
Christell “Chris” Busch, 85, of Port Arthur, died Monday, January 20, 2014, at
Cypress Glen Nursing Facility, Port Arthur. She was born February 2, 1928, to
Millie Ellen and Charlie Wiesen in Killeen, and had been a resident of the Mid-County
area since 1937.
She
is survived by her son, Dr. David Truett Busch and his wife, Cara, of Ellijay,
Georgia; grandchildren, Ukiah Jacob Busch and his wife, Sara, Casey Montana Busch
and Sierra Dawn Busch; great-grandchild, Josephine Aurora Busch; daughter-in-law,
Tanya Colbert Busch; and sister, Faye Thibodeaux.
Christell
is preceded in death by her parents; her
husband, John C. Busch, and one son,
Zane Martin Busch.
A
gathering of Mrs. Busch’s family and friends will begin at 9:00 a.m., with her
funeral service to follow at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, January 23, 2014, at
Broussard’s, 505 North 12th Street, Nederland. Interment will follow
at Greenlawn Memorial Park, Groves.
