Danice, Richard and Scott - Eddie and I are so saddened at the loss of Richie. He was such a wonderful friend and co-worker to me, as well as a true inspiration and motivator to Eddie. I will be forever grateful and thankful to Richie for getting Eddie into cycling. It is something that he enjoys and will always think of Richie as he rides. Richie and I had the opportunity to have many conversations at work over the last couple of years since his diagnosis and he always told me "I just hope I use my cancer to inspire others. I don't want to waste my cancer." He did just that - he inspired others. We love y'all and we are here for you if you need us. You will be in our thoughts and prayers in the days, weeks and months ahead.
