My sincere condolences to "Richie" Hamric's family. He did not know me, but I worked with his father in Orange many years ago during my summer vacations in college, 1969,70, and 71. If he was as wonderful a person as his father, then he was a very fine man. Richard means "brave power", derived from the Germanic elements ric "power, rule" and hard "brave, hardy". He certainly lived true to his name.
