She was, indeed, a beautiful lady and the personification of patience, always "keeping her cool" in the rowdiest of classes. How well I remember her trying to teach bookkeeping to me and typing to Put Guidry! That, alone, assures she is in Heaven today.
Mrs. Gleason was an honored guest at our NHS Class of '56 reunions. She was loved by all, and we knew she cared for each and every one of us. My deepest condolences to the family. Saturday, April 6, 2013 |

She was a wonderful teacher to me as well as others. I was also privileged to know some of her children. My sincerest condolences to all you.

Many years ago your mother exercised at First Baptist Church Nederland. She was such an inspiration and a lovely lady. My prayers are with the family at this time. May you feel God's loving arms around all of you today and every day.
