Mrs. Durso, As elementary children we were sitting around talking about what each of us wanted to become when we grew up. You interjected "Whatever you become, you become the best Christian you can be first." This was this kind of faith and inspiration you helped instill in us at Our Lady of Assumption.
I was soooo looking forward to giving you a big hug and a huge "Thank you" on this past Sunday! So, even in your passing, you taught me that tomorrow is truly not guaranteed to any of us.
I thank you for your important contribution to the formation of the person I am today.
Thank you for a life well lived and for being a part of our little world at Assumption!
