Sterling Mack Arceneaux
July 19, 1947 - June 14, 2012
Joellyn Creamer (Sour Lake, TX)

I became friends with Sterling through my husband, Myron. I work at LifeShare Blood Centers and Sterling was a very faithful, regular donor. Sterling found out a couple of years ago that he was a "baby donor"...his blood was missing a virus that is very common and as a result his blood went to babies. Sterling was very proud of the fact that his blood was so special and was being used in such a needed way. He always kept the girls laughing and was a joy to have around. We will all miss him...he always left telling everyone that "I owed him a pizza!" I am glad I met him.

Loma Purkes (Jacksonville, FL)

He was a dear friend to me for many many years. I remember when he called me one evening here in Florida and said "I got Saved". I was so over joyed. We had many long talks about the Lord. He sure made up for lost time in serving his Lord. He loved the South Park Greenies so much and was always willing to give a hand for all the events. Rest in Peace dear friend.

Joel Melancon (Winnie, TX)

I was very blessed to know this fine Christian man the last three years. Sterling was always there for anyone who needed it. I always enjoyed his straight to the point wisdom and Christian counseling. I picture Sterling as he entered Heaven, looking around and going "WOW!" Will miss you my brother and I will never forget you.
