I was so blessed by Sterling. He "crashed" our ladies Precept Class two years ago. We grew very fond of him and his heart for our LORD and for helping other people was amazing. A true reflection of the love of our Savior. We will miss him but are so thankful we will see him again. Monday, June 18, 2012 |

The Big Dog and I will miss Sterling's visits and banter as we go forward. We visited on Friday 6/8 to talk about how things had changed and he said that he was ready for the new phase of his life. What a giant leap! He will live on in our memories as a unique man with charisma to spare! God Bless! Monday, June 18, 2012 |

I've enjoyed the last 5 years of getting to know you better and becoming a friend. While we were away from home, you always said you enjoyed watering and talking to our plants. They always bloomed for you. I loved the title you gave me, "The Cookie Lady"; it was always a pleasure baking cookies for you. It has been fun watching all the Greenies enjoy their friendship over the years and I am glad you were able to be a part of the Class of 65's friendship. Sterling, where do I begin? We have been friends since junior high days. At every class reunion or mini class get together, you would always joke with others that you still owed me $3.00 gas money for taking you to school. If the truth be known, I owe you Sterling for being a devoted friend for all these years. There was nothing I could ask of you that you wouldn't do for me. I will miss the many phone calls from you when I would just answer "Arceneaux" I will think of you everytime I pass Dairy Queen or when I see a man riding a bicycle. I will miss you my friend. Until we see each other again. Love you. Donnie Sunday, June 17, 2012 |
