Mr. OB, you will be greatly missed by everyone. You were one of the most influential people to ever step foot in West Brook. RIP

I teach at West Brook High School-- Jim will truly be missed. I consider myself to be extremely blessed in knowing him. He was a wonderful man and such an inspiration to all those who crossed paths with him. My four children, who all have been lucky enough to have Jim at West Brook, and I have your family in our thoughts and prayers.

Jim O'Brien was one of those special people put in our paths to help us make sense of our lives. He was that shining light on a dark day and a brilliant jewel of a man. But he would also want me ro remember him as human, with faults like the rest of us. But he always had words to help us rise above those faults and be a better human being. Jim, you will always be loved and missed beyond words! God shown through YOU to bless us all. Thank you for that. RIP JIM!

Such a man of faith -- he wouldn't want us to be grieving because today he's met his maker and all the loved ones who went before him, and must be just delighted. Such a blessing for him, substituting at West Brook during this point in his life, where he was admired as a godly man by all who knew him -- "a hale fellow, well met". And the way students related to him during his final years with such love and respect was incredible. Such a beloved man and a blessing for us all, as well. We are better people for having known Jim.
