I've known Uncle Jim all my life, but I am still learning new things about him. The comments here and elsewhere and the comments about him after his initial diagnosis are wonderful, please keep them coming. I hope to see more than a few green t-shirts at the service. I was privileged to visit him less than 2 weeks before he went to Heaven. I'm happy to say he was aware enough that the visit was meaningful for both of us. Thursday, August 11, 2011 |

Mr. O'Brien will be remembered forever because he has touched so many lives. I loved all his stories and jokes he made me laugh all the time. He made the day brighter just by entering my office at West Brook in the morning. He talked about his family every single time I spoke with him. He loved you all dearly. Blessing are given to us all just by knowing him. Thoughts and Prayers to the family. Thursday, August 11, 2011 |

Dear Sylvia, My sincere condolence to you and your family. My life was made richer by knowing Jim. I guess I had not met a saint until now. He is having breakfast with The King.

My condolences to your family. It was a privilege to see Mr. O'Brien walk in the door at WB. He always had a smile on his face and was there to do more than teach the children the subject he was doing for the day. He gave children hope and inspired them to do good in life. I am sure he has a special place in Heaven.
