She was like a second mother to me and i spent so much of my youth with her and John. I will miss her greatly and may God bless all of her family.

Nacole Burgess Myers ()

Ms. Elizabeth was a true friend to the Burgess Family. I regret not getting to see her over the years; however, she has been a pleasure to my family. My found memory of her is when I was in nursing school and she took me to St. Elizabeth's hospital and gave me the grand tour. She was so excited that I had chosen to be a nurse. Thank you for your encouragement and love for people.

God Bless you and your family.

There are no words to express the respect and love that was held for this truly wonderful lady. At first she was my Mom's boss, then her best friend. Mom loved her as a sister and I really thought of her as my family too. Mom worked with her at Kersting Hospital from the day the "new" hospital opened. She and Mom (she called Norma) remained friends for all the years before Mom passed away in 07. She watched us grow up and offered advice when she was asked or it was needed. I have never known another woman that I have held is such high regard with deep respect. I loved her and her family as well. I know how much she loved her grandchildren because she smiled so sweetly when she spoke of them. I know she and Mom are having a great time catching up right now. She will be missed by all of us that are left here without her but there are many people who welcomed her home on Thrusday.

Secrest Family (Willis, TX)

Auntie Bill was such a wonderful aunt and great aunt! We will all miss her terribly! She lived life to the fullest and she loved her family with all of her heart. Our family loved it when she came to our house for the holidays. Auntie Bill would tell us stories about our great grandmother, our grandparents and other family members. She was such a caring and giving person. We will all miss you!

We love you!
