My heart goes out to your kids, and especially Chuck. As you have been so healthy, I was not prepared for your sudden departure. I am comforted by the fact that all things happen according to God's plan, and that you are in His arms. You now know the answer to the age-old mystery: "are there dogs in Heaven" (I believe that they must be). You are missed. Tuesday, July 20, 2010 |

I have known Ms. Nancy for a couple of years. I'm truly honored to have played against her on her last tennis match. We had a long conversation after our match and her last words to me were, "You'll be seeing me again." Indeed, Ms. Nancy, we will see each other again. You'll be missed.
My condolences to the family of Ms. Nancy. Tuesday, July 20, 2010 |

I have only had the pleasure of knowing Ms Nancy a few years. But what an inspiration. She was such a competitor and a moral booster. I admired her as a person and as a team mate. She will be missed, but not forgotten. She and I had quite a few long talks about tennis and sportsmanship. She was always prepared for the unexpected. And one would never know what she might pull out of her tennis bag. :)
To the family, wish you peace and strength for your loss. And know that she was loved and respected by many.
Sincerely,
Denise Lewis Tuesday, July 20, 2010 |
