Dear Pat, Mike, and family, Jeannie, as I have known her since I was a little girl, will truly be missed by all. She was a very gracious kind soul and I always looked forward to her sweet words and gentle hugs. My trips to Deport will be missing a piece without a visit with her. You are all in my thoughts and prayers and I know all the wonderful memories you have will help get you through this tough time. Love to you all. Monday, June 7, 2010 |

Mrs. Herring was my 9th grade English teacher in 1959 and made an impact in my life by stressing the importance of using correct English. Later on, we became friends, and were on first name basis. In 1993, I opened a tea room and she was a frequent customer and always complimented me and gave me encouragement. She was one of the treasures that made South Park the wonderful community we grew up in. She will always be remembered for her grace and beauty. Thank you Mrs. Herring aka Beverly for being my teacher and my friend. You will be missed by many people. Monday, June 7, 2010 |
