Laurel & family, I am so sorry to hear of Dr. Shrontz passing. I pray God will comfort you & give you peace in this sad time. Dr. Shrontz was a wonderful doctor! It was such a pleasure to have worked with him in the times I did. He had such a friendly & pleasant nature. His patients loved him, as well. He will be surely missed. I am so sorry for your loss. It is also a great loss to the medical field & our community. God bless you & keep you.

Dr. Shrontz did back surgery on my husband in 1986 and gave him and us our life back. He had been in a horrific auto accident and his spinal column was nearly severed. Dr. Shrontz did surgery and 24 years later he is pain free and living a normal life. Dr. Shrontz used his gift from God and helped many lives. We are so sorry for your loss.

Shelly Cooper (Silsbee, TX)

Laurel and family,
Condolences from the Respiratory Staff at St. Elizabeth Hospital. So many wonderful things have already been said about Dr. Shrontz.........but I just want to say- that when healthcare workers sit around and share their thoughts at the end of the day about the physicians they work side by side with -Dr Shrontz was considered "tops". He was one of those special docs who could teach you something-even in a crisis, and never used a demeaning tone. He could make you laugh, show kindness to those around him, and be compassionate to his patients and their families. Yes, at the end of the day, he was someone you wanted to work with- and if you needed a physician- he was the one you wanted to take care of you or your loved one. His shoes will be hard to fill.
Kindest regards,
Shelly Cooper
