Our thoughts, prayers and love are with you three girls and the grandchildren, and Susanne. We'll miss Charlie ever so much - a wonderful friend, a wonderful, one-of-a-kind man.
Connie wrote this poem in his memory:
For CHARLIE GLASS It’s so hard to accept we’ve lost our friend
Just as we thought he was on the mend!
Life won’t be the same without Charlie nearby.
And how can we ever say goodbye?
Charlie will be missed forever – forgotten - never, never!
He was a soldier down after a fight so brave - a person tried and true - And someone who was loved so much by everyone he knew.
We’re thankful to have known this tall, strong man
When tears would flow he would hold your hand.
Family and friends were safe with him;
We always will miss his big, wide grin.
And we always will remember Charlie our friend.
