We were saddened to learn of the passing of dear Roman. Your family has been precious to us for many years and we are praying for you all in this time of grief. We know that you are leaning of the Lord Jesus Christ and His promises. There is nowhere else to find peace than the Prince of Peace.

Matt & Elana,
I know well the grief you are experiencing, as we experienced the death of our second child over 23 years ago. I will never forget how the Holy Spirit brought Job 1:21 to my mind while in the ER, so that even in my grief I was reminded to bless the Lord's name! I pray that you are also experincing the peace that surpasses all comprehension (Philippians 4:6-7), for truly His grace is sufficient for our every need (2 Corinthians 12:9-10)! Psalm 139 is a great reminder of God's intimate involvement in every aspect of each person's life, whatever the length. May you find comfort in the riches of God's word, knowing that He accomplished His will in the tiny life of Roman during the days He ordained for him before he was even conceived (Psalm 139:16). God is good. He is faithful. He is sovereign. I am praying for your family. Trust Him.
