Daddy (TX)

My dear boy. I have thought often that we would do so many things together. I would teach you to fish and hunt. You would probably have a passion for history and maybe medicine. But God choose these things not to be. Our family is less without you, but better because you came into our lives. I never had all we could have had, but the few moments we had will last me the rest of my life. Your brother still sees something on TV and says "wouldn't that be good for Roman." My child I long for the day in which you can share some of your time with Christ with me. Your life accomplished that which God had for it and I am honered God choose our small family for you to bless. I miss you every day.

Elana - if I was there I would hug you for a very, very long time - I do not understand so much in this world. There are tears of sadness in the ground in Seattle, dear friend. I love you and am holding you in my heart tightly.

Roman - my tears fall because you were fiercely loved in your short life. This world misses you, darling boy.

My love and prayers are with you both. I wish there was something more I could say that would ease your grief. Just know that I love ya'll and I am thinking of you.

Elana and Matt, we were so sorry to hear of your loss. Please know that you are in our thoughts. We pray that you will know the peace that only our Heavenly Father can provide. He knows the plans He has for your family, plans to prosper you and not harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future (Jeremiah 29:11). We love you.
