Dear Jan, We share in your loss & join you spiritually in your grieving. George was one of the finest men we've ever met. We are proud & honored to have served with him. Over the many years you & George were family to us. He has been an inspiration to us & the 2 of you have given us many fond memories that we will always cherish. I am sorry that my condition will not allow me to be with you, but we are with you in spirit, truth & love. Sending our love & prayers. Yours always, Marv & Arlene Wednesday, March 30, 2016 |

I am truly heartbroken to hear of Mr. Sharp's passing . He was my greatest inspiration and mentor . He has been a constant in my life for almost 50years . Mr. Sharp took a wild 17 year old kid and turned him into a respectable man . I will always be grateful to him for the life he has given me. May our Lord hold and comfort you in your time of sorrow . Rest In Peace My Friend , I will see you in a little while ..... Lee

So sorry to hear of Col. Sharps passing. I had the honor and privilege of serving with him in the Texas Air National Guard. I was First Sergeant during his tenure as commander of the unit. I had a great respect for him as a commander and friend. May he be long remembered as the Gentleman and Officer that he was. Wednesday, March 30, 2016 |
