I was honored, blessed and proud to have the privilege of working for Lupe in the late '80s. Lupe hired me a couple of months after my precious daughter died, giving me confidence to get up, start over and come to work again. He was caring and compassionate regarding my circumstances. I will never forget how kind he and his family treated me. We have lost a great man of character and a true friend. Nancy and children, my thoughts and prayers are with each of you. I grieve with you and will miss Lupe.
