Rebecca and family,

Dr. Woodland will be remembered and revered for his vast contributions of time and talent to the Lamar community. Everyone he ever knew will also remember that wonderful smile and the kind words he always spoke. He is one of Lamar's shining lights, a light that will eternally shine. Please accept my condolences.

Paul Anawaty (Fort Collins, CO)

Miss Mary, and all of the Woodland family:

I am deeply saddened to read of Naaman's passing. It has been my privilege to know you both through these last 50+ years. My fondest memory is singing in BICS' inaugural performance in the old sanctuary of First Methodist Church, when Gladys Quilliam conducted (and Mrs Cloud accompanied) Messiah. A memory of a lifetime !

Please accept my sincere condolences, and know that Naaman's life will be remembered and celebrated by ALL those whom he touched.

Your friend,
Paul Anawaty

I enjoyed listening to all you had to say Mr. Woodland. I could have learned more from you. The world is a dimmer place without you but as a believer I know you are rejoicing in the Heavenly Kingdom. Farewell, I will miss you always!
