Evelyn Thompson Hays (Denham Springs, LA)

To my sweet precious brother in law and friend. I first met Glenn 52 years ago, long before he became family.
As everyone well knows there will never be another Glenn , he was one of a kind. The world will be so empty without him.
If Larry (Glenn's oldest brother and I feel the pain like we do, it hurts me so much for the rest of his family and friends that loved him so much.
Debbie keep your chin up and think about the old days, nothing but good memories.
All our love, Larry & Evelyn

My sympathy and condolences to the family. I knew Glenn casually from high school, then we worked together three years at Lincoln High School. But we became better friends over the last five years as we shared a carpool together to Johnson Bayou. We all love him and really miss him. His dry wit and sometimes "direct manner" made it a pleasure and often kept the ride interesting. I really miss going into his classroom and just having brief interactions with him. He did many things for his "kids" and colleagues in quiet ways to make things better for them, without fuss nor fanfare or public recognition. His family should be proud of him and I know you loved him. You will be missed, my friend. May God comfort your family.
