Jeff Miller (Dallas, TX)

To Charles and the entire Giglio Family. I'm truly sorry for your loss. JC & Giglio Distributing, the company he founded and built was a very integral part of my life and family for which I'm very grateful. Many fond memories working and growing up. I admired JC for his work ethic which was 'second to none'. He will be missed by many.
My thoughts and prayers are with you all.
Sincerely .... Jeff Miller

Msgr. Jerry McGrath (Beaumont, TX)

Drear Charles, JoBeth, Gerri and Family:

Please accept, and convey to your beloved mother, and your entire family my deep condolences and daily special prayers for you Dad's soul. JC was an inspiration in faith and love to so many people, especially to all of us priests in our Diocese, other Diocese and Religious Communities.  Though he was short in physical stature, he was a giant of a man in his love for God, his family, our universal Church, civic and business communities. May you, your Mom and entire family be comforted by the glory of Christ's Resurrection.

I have offer Mass for your Dad's soul at St Peter's Basilica here at the Vatican.  Today, the day of your Dad's funeral at our Cathedral Basilica, know that I am spiritually united with you over the miles at God's altar in the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass here in Rome.  Your Dad and Mom have loved Our Lord in so many beautiful ways throughout all their lives, how fitting it was that Our Lord brought you Dad to his eternal repose on Mercy Sunday and that JC's Liturgy of Christian Burial is being celebrated by Bishop Guillory in our Cathedral Basilica today.

Not being phyically with you during these difficult and emotional days deeply saddens my heart. Your Dad was a devoted and generous friend.  I will great miss him as I always felt great graces for God when I had the privileged to minister in the name of Christ and the Church to your wonderful Dad during his many visits to St Anthony's for Mass. Know that I could never totally imagin how each of you will miss your loving Dad's physical presence each day. Praise God that you and all of us will have your Dad's spiritual presence near to us throughout our remaing years here on earth and forever in the eternal kingdom of God in heaven.

Blessing, prayers and loving condolences,
Fr. Jerry

William P. Ciardiello (Essex Fells)

The patriarch of a wonderful family, J.C. made me feel welcome during my interaction with him and his son Charles when I represented the Miller Brewing Company in Southeast Texas from 1981 to 1987. A memorable man who left a very positive mark on all of us.

Gayle Patrizi Plaia (Beaumont, TX)

To all the members of Mr. Giglio's family,
I had not seen Mr. Giglio is several years, but can remember the restaurant days when he would come in. Whether for business or just to grab a bite, he was always smiling and in character.
I know all of you will miss him dearly, but I hope you get some comfort knowing that he is in a great place, and you know he is telling it like it is and showing them how to do it.
Sincerely,
Gayle Patrizi Plaia
