J.C. was always one of my very favorite people to see walk through the front door of anywhere I have ever worked. For the past 10 years, it was at Madison's. I can't tell you how happy he made all my bartenders with his Giglio click pens and $2 bills. My 9 year old niece was with me about 2 weeks ago and she had never seen a $2 bill before. She was thrilled when he gave her one. He was a wonderful person and always brought a smile to my face. He will be missed by so many. Your family is in my thoughts and prayers.

Dearest Giglio family...I was so saddened to learn of Mr. Giglio's passing. What a sweet and special man he was. He was better known at SOP as our "Easter Bunny." He was so generous to our work and especially at Easter when he would bring us eggs for us to distribute to those we serve. I have missed his wonderful visits and will continue to miss him. How blessed you were to have had him in your lives and how blessed I was to know him. Please know that all who knew and loved him share in your grief. May this comfort you some. On Friday it was on my heart to call old friend Ray Solis to tell him J. C. had been asking about him and to give Ray his regards. I did call Ray and he said it meant a lot for J. C. to be thinking of him. Today it was Ray who called me to tell me J. C. had passed...I was fortunate to meet this delightful, generous gentleman 25 years ago and to enjoy his friendship these 25 years...One thing we had in common was our love of big-band music. We could talk for hours about Glenn Miller, Artie Shaw, the Dorseys...I will miss him deeply and always keep him in fond memories. May God bless his wonderful family in this time of loss.
