I have many fond family memories of Sam. He was always kind and caring and ready to laugh with me or give me advice. I am better for having known him and lucky to have been his cousin. Love to Sandra, Kimberly, Pat and all the family - Julia Crockett Mannheimer

This is my first boss. I worked for Jefferson County Title Company as an assistant to prepare the closing folders. My grandfather Calvin Major White introduced me. I loved working there and highly respected him. I will never forget what I learned there under his influence. He was a great man. my grandfather admired him.

My sympathies to the family of Sam Smith.
I worked for Sam in the early 2000 on a short term Right- of- Way project. I appreciated his knowledge and experience, and his friendly smile.

The Golden Triangle will surely miss him.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to you during this difficult time. We enjoyed visiting with your dad in the recent years for holidays he would share at my parents house. Such a sweet man, he will be missed by so many.

Sam was a great guy and a great boss. I worked for him while I was in college. It was a great opportunity where I learned a lot that has helped me throughout my life.
