John will truly be missed. He knew how to put a smile on everyone's face.
He made everyday I spent with him in Angola a better day. He was a vision of strength and impregnability, but the love he had for his friends and family he could not hide.

Prayers go out to his family.

May His Peace guide and comfort those you've left behind.

You all are in my prayers. I will ask God to keep his arms around yall and give you the strength to carry on.
I don't remember the yr ya'll moved in across the street from us, but I do know it was before the girls were born! I know that they adored their daddy! I know that their dad loved them very much and loved you very much also Tolece. When I heard the news of his passing, it was such a shock, I am sure as it was to all of yall.....I know it is going to be hard at first, and it will get easier as time goes by. You are surrounded by some good neighbors (friends) and other family members. If you need anything you know where we all are. Don't be scared to ask. Love each and everyone of you!

Wayne, You will be truly missed. The times that I spent with you in the Pipe Recovery shack and the Halidome were always inspiring to me. Your daughters need to know how much you loved them. I give my condolences to your family.

My prayers go out to you and your family John. Thanks for the great times in Malongo! You brought laughter and hope when the times were tough and even when they weren't. You have many friends here that will miss you. I will never forget your signature, "Hey man!!!"

From Angola to North Dakota was quite a move for us. Looks like you are going home for good. Your friendship will be missed.

I worked with John in Angola and Malongo was a better place because of John and he made us all laugh.
