Reuben A. Isern, M.D.

I shared office space with Dr. Isern in Orange many years ago before I moved my practice to Hemphill, TX. I adopted an English Setter from Dr. Isern 15 years ago from his kennel in Vidor after I moved to Hemphill and that dog's name was Sam. Sam had a wonderful life full of swimming and hunting on Lake Toledo Bend until he died this past April 17th. Thank you Dr. Isern for your friendship and your love of animals so that I could have Sam all of those many wonderful years.

My thoughts and prayers are with the family. I graduated with Ruben and Yvette and I have fund memories of his wonderful upbeat personality.

While I did not personally know Reuben, the love he gave to so many will be remembered. My heart goes out to those who knew him , and loved him.

My prayers are with the Isern family at this difficult time. Dr. Isern was such a brilliant, caring doctor. I wished more doctors had the compassion Dr. Isern had for his patients. He was my doctor for many years and will truly be missed.
