Gerald "Matt" Matthew Dunaway

My sincere sympathies to Kay and family.
Gerald's intellect, wit, and professional integrity made our working together a highlight of my years with the Galveston District Corps of Engineers.

So saddened to hear. Thoughts and prayers are with you all. The world has lost a very special man... wise, talented, smart, humorous, kind, caring......
Through his personal relationships, as well as his engineering expertise at the Corps of Engineers, he improved the quality of life for MANY. He truly made a difference in his short time on earth.

Gerald was a great co-worker, and one smart engineer. I'm sorry for your loss.

I always enjoyed Matt's stories of your canoeing adventures.
He was a special friend and neighbor. His presence as a board

He was true to his heart and principles. A very good man and true friend to all who knew him. Kind, Funny, Talented and Sincere. He is in the hearts of many and therefore will never be gone. His music will be heard on the wind throughout the years.
