I am so sorry to hear of Matthew's passing. I haven't talked to Mathew since college. My best memory of Mathew was when we were young, we went on a float trip down Village Creek with his beagle named Barney. We went on many camping, fishing, and hunting trips. He was an absolutely great guy.

I am very sorry to hear the news! Gerald was a good man and a mentor for me when I worked at the Corps. I always enjoyed his company and the many discussions we had about work and life. His family will be in our prayers!

I am so sorry to hear of your lose. Matthew was a great guy. He and I went through school together from elementary to high school. Even though we lost touch with each other after that I will always remember going to his house to play and the good friend that he was.

Take heart, we will all see each other again someday and renew friendship in heaven.

Kay,
So shocked and saddened to hear about Gerald’s passing. He was a wonderful person to work with, so witty, intelligent and helpful to everyone. At the corps, he was the silent leader that everyone relied on. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

To Kay, Mrs Dunaway and the entire Dunaway family
It's been many years since I last saw Matthew so I still think of him as he was when we were young. It was truly a skock to hear of his passing. Thankfully we will always have the great memories of him to hold onto. Our thoughts and prayers go out to all of you in this time of remembrance.

Gerald, you were a good friend and a good teacher to me, I cannot believe you are gone from here. You’ve taught me so much about engineering in H-H. You will be in my prayers.

To the Family of Gerald,

What a great guy to know. He was the most polite and nicest person you could know. I worked in H&H my first job with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers in 1983 as a Secretary. We had a small group of people in our Office and Gerald was one of them.
So very sorry to hear of your loss and may God be ever so near you Kathy and all of your lovely family.
Your in my thoughts and prayers.

Betty Shives
Corps of Engineers
