You were loved by many, and we will always cherish your memory in our hearts. God Bless you, Father Fernandez- you tended to your sheep well with love and humor. I am thankful you are with our Heavenly Father as his sheep.

We are so sad to hear about the passing of Fr Fernandez, he was such a special person to us, we always looked forward to seeing him at Our Lady of Lourdes when we were in Vidor, he was one of the best and we will miss him dearly. thank you Fr. for your friendship an guidance.

Once in a while a person comes in our lives for just a momemt; but their presence is felt for a lifetime.. This is how we all feel about Fr. Fernandez. He was a tremendous influence on me and so many while he served as our pastor at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church. I will forever remember his wisdom, compassion and sense of humor. Rest in Peace, Fr. Fernandez-- WE WILL NEVER, EVER FORGET YOU...

Father Fernandez was a wonderful man and an inspiration. He was a member of our family and I will always be grateful for the kindness he always showed me and my family. I will always have a special place in my heart for you. You will be missed but I know you are in Heaven and you were greeted by all those you were there for that went before you. Rest In Pease.

Father Fernandez taught us about forgiveness. May we all practice what he taught us and forever pay it forward. His love,friendship, leadership and laughter will always be in our hearts.

You will be so very missed. My girls speak of you often and all the wonderful teachings they received from you.

Was saddened to learn of Father Fernandez's passing. He holds many memories in our family when he was pastor at St. Anthony's Church in Elmendorf, Texas. From weddings, baptisms, funerals and family gatherings he was an inspiration to all. I'm sure he is smiling at all of us from his new home. Our deepest sympathy,
