Douglas "Doug" Eugene Vandiver

Now Dougy is riding those horses in the sky.
I have no idea if you know it but Doug was quite the horsman in his youth.

We loved Doug!

We had a good run, a bunch of hills and valleys, but we overcame them all. See you in Heaven one of these days.

My thoughts and prayers are with Doug's daughters and grandchildren and family during this time. When I heard the news of Doug's death, my heart broke. As conveyed to me, Doug would not want you to be sad, but to take a moment to celebrate his life. I knew Doug as a co-worker and a friend. He was one proud father and spoke with such love of his daughters. I knew two things that would be present when I was around him, he would have a smile and a joke. Thank-you Doug !! Will miss you !!

I will always cherish the memories that I have had with Uncle Doug. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you.
