What a tragic loss not only to your daughters and grandchildren, but to us all. Doug was one of a kind, and they just don't make men like that anymore. If you were fortunate to know Doug your life was richer for it, I feel so fortunate to have called him both family and friend. Doug you will always hold a very special place in my heart, and I will never forget you cousin Doug. My deepest sympathies to Crystal and Becca and the Vandiver family. May God Bless You and comfort you in your time of grief.

My deepest sympathy to the family and fervent prayers in your hour of sadness. He was a dear, dear friend and many a laugh we shared through the years. I'd always call him on his birthday and ask him if he'd seen his shadow and he'd always respond with that quick wit and sense of humor he had. He will be missed from our lives. He made our lives richer and that will not be forgotten.
