I had just re-connected w/ Carrie and we had a prayer shawl made for her and did a small fundraiser in her honor, so sorry to hear this news. She was an inspiration and a blessing, I worked with her years ago and am grateful I had the honor to talk to her again. Our love and prayers go to her family.

My deepest sympathy to the Budd - Naas family. Carrie was a true inspiration to everyone that knew and loved her. She is smiling that beautiful smile down on us all from above! Rest in peace, sweet Carrie

I feel so very blessed to have known Carrie for these past few years since her beautiful family came back to Beaumont. So many laughs and kid stories we shared...always ending with laughter. Sometimes you can know people for many years and not be touched in the way that Carrie touched me. I feel so helpless but know that God will find a way for us all to wrap our love around this family and lift them up. God's rest for you, my friend.

To the Budds and Jonathan and kids:
Love and light to all of you. Carrie was such an amazing fun person who took on her Cancer diagnosis with such incredible valor and grace.
Her illness reconnected us and I am so thankful for our great phone chats this past few months. Love to all of you.
