My heart goes out to you in this difficult time. Please accept my condolences and know that I will be praying for you. Let the Lord renew your strength. When you are the weakest, Christ is the most able. Psalm 46:1

This is such a great loss. I love Brother Gibson, and will miss him terribly. The last time I heard him preach would have been when he was serving as the interim pastor for Seventh Street Baptist Church, for about nine months. I went there every Sunday, so I could hear him preach, and also visit with him. Just typing this brings back such great memories, and it brings a smile to my face. The Giboson family is in my thoughts and prayers. I love y'all.

Dorothy:
We are sorry for our loss but it is a gain for Heaven. We enjoyed Dr. Gibson's sermons so much.
He was so faithful to provide comfort to sick church members for so many years.

Words can never express what Bro. Gibson and Dorthy has meant to our family . Bro Gibson has been there for us during many eventful times in our life, from the birth of our last daughter and many grandchildren , the baptism of our children ,marriage of both daughters and death of our grandparents, parents, aunts and uncles. We will be eternally greatful for his loving support. We could not have asked for more. He will have many rewards to lay at the feet of Jesus. I am sure Jesus will say " Well done my good and faithful servant." You will be missed. Love Pat & Robert

Mrs. Gibson, Sherry and Jerry:
Bro. Gibson married Terry & I thirty-seven years ago in the old sanctuary of Hillcrest Baptist Church. We were his first couple to marry at the church. We loved him very much, and will always remember his warm smile, keen witt and love for the Lord. He was always there for our family - he will be missed but we know that he is in that wonderful place where the sun is shining, the streets are layed with gold and walking and talking with our Lord and Savior. We love all of you, and will keep your in our thoughts and prayers.
