Dear Mrs. Gibson, Sherry, Jerry & family ~ Dr. Gibson is the definition of a true Pastor; he was our Shepherd, he served with grace, and he guided with wisdom and compassion. Our hearts are forever touched by the life of Elvin Gibson.

Elvin had left Malakoff by the time I was 9-10 years old so I never really knew him, but by the testimonies I am reading he must have been a believer. I knew his Dad and Mom who were good people so I pray for comfort for his family and Sister, Marie.

Dorothy and Family,

Our hearts are heavy because of the loss of Elvin. He was such a blessing to us and we loved him so much. He will be missed in many, many ways.

We have been out of town visiting our daughter. The drive really takes its toll on Lou. We regret that we could not be with you all. We are there in thought and in prayer.

May God bless and hold you close. May God's comfort and love be shown by your family and the friends who are near.

We love you,
Julius and Lou Tapley

Dorothy, Sherry and Jerry,
Just wanted to let you know how sorry Frank and I were to hear about Bro. Gibson's passing. We will never forget him and the Pastor and friend he was to us when we were at Hillcrest. He was an outstanding Bible teacher and was always so eloquent in his preaching. I know he is having a wonderful time in Heaven seeing all those wonderful things he taught us about. We will be praying for your families as you go through this time of grief. We love all of you!

Mrs. Dorothy, Sherry, & Jerry,
We are so sad to hear of Brother Gibson's passing. What a glorious day it was in heaven when he saw his Savior face to face! You both mean so much to Tom and me; and we appreciate all you and he did for our family. Thank you so much for sharing your Husband & Father with all of us throughout these years. May God Bless you and comfort you and give you peace..Love
