To Sylvia O'Brien and family How blessed we have all been for knowing Jim. Those we cherish, will always live on in our memories. I was truly happy to hear that Jim was subbing at West Brook, because I knew that many others would learn from his wisdom. He always had brilliant God filled answers for me on issues of the world I had for him when we worked together at Mercedes. May God and time heal the emptiness and replace that with happy memories. Our prayers are for you, and our love goes to you. From Sylvia and Stan Searle

Our thoughts and Prayers to the OBrien Family. He was an amazing man that touched the lives of so many. Always a smile a kind word or a humorous saying to make one laugh. Always a ray of sunshine. Forever smiling down on us now and forever in our hearts. So many young people are better, stronger wiser individuals because of your investment in them! God bring peace and comfort to this family.

Mr. O'Brien was a special man during my time at West Brook, not only because of his good humor and wit, but because of his deep understanding of human nature. Many time did he give me sound advice that I still use today. I send my condolences to his family and pray that God gives them the strength to see them through this difficult time.

Mr. O'! God intended for us to glorify his love on this earth, to serve as light in darkness, so Thank you! Thank you for the light that you shown, the reflection of Christ in your body and spirit that was obvious. Thank you for not being afraid to speak what God lay on your heart at any moment. Thank you for all the words of wisdom, encouragement, and love. May God fill your family with the peace and courage you displayed throughout your life, even in the face of cancer

Jim O'Brien is still my friend and my spiritual mentor although not physically here. His unwavering faith in God and the joy that he experienced serving Him through his days at West Brook inspire me to honor his legacy through my own life. God bless you Sylvia and the family. Jim lives on in the people that he so richly touched.

Mr. O'Brien, you were an inspiration to so many people including myself. I am so blessed to have met you. I absolutely loved when you were subbing for one of my teachers, but even just seeing you in the hallway brightened up my day. West Brook has lost someone special; however God is truly gaining a wonderful angel :). You will never be forgotten. You and your family are in my prayers! Love you Mr. OB!

Mr. O'Brien, You have taught me so much about life throughout these past four years. You were in many ways, the heart and soul of West Brook. Your memory and amazing spirit will forever be reflected in the students you touched on a daily basis. I know you're up there teaching a God a few things. I love you.
