As the last bird in our nest, I would like to tell each and every one of you how much your comments about Eddie have meant to us at this time of sorrow. We never thought much about Eddie's accomplishments in the real estate field. When he came to our house he was "Big Ed", "Fast Eddie", or "Unkie". That is the Eddie we remember. I would also like to thank the Pastor and congregation of Calvary Baptist Church for all you have done to help us through this, as well as the family and staff of Broussard's. I feel that the most important "Thank you" goes to "Eddie's Girls" for the love you brought into his life. He loved all of you very much. If you asked Eddie what achievement in his life meant the most to him, he would quickly tell you it was the role of "Pop Pop". Eddie was a man of many roles, and he will be remembered by each of us in our own way. Thank you all, Pat

Eddie and I got into trouble many times being cousins and together often when we were smaller. We were near the same age and his hair cutting experiences started about the time he was 3 years old. I was his first hair cut. Eddie could tell tales like no one else. He made them so believable, and you couldn't tell which ones were true. My family's thoughts and prayers are with the family. Pat, we had a lot of good times with "Big ED".

It was my pleasure to take my real estate education classes from Mr. Stockton. I always looked forward to class because he would give us a great laugh with a funny story. He will be missed by those who knew him.

Vicki and Family,
I am so shocked to hear of Eddie's passing. I took real estate classes and worked for Eddie when he had Stockton Real Estate. Eddie was one of a kind, a most caring and generous man with a zest for life and the greatest sense of humor. My friend, Joy Phillips and I surprised Eddie with a visit several years ago when I was in Beaumont visiting and he was his usual gracious, happy self. So glad I got to see him one more time. I have many fond mermories and hope he is now reunited with family in heaven. God Bless You Eddie!

Vicki and family... There are no words to say "Thank You" to Eddie... Even being a broker..I always called Eddie about what I should do about a situation..and ALWAYS took his advise. Been years since I visited with Eddie, but will never forget his "free talk"..Great Guy!! Charles Chesnutt

The news of Eddie's passing seems so surreal. His wisdom and quick wit kept me entranced. He truly is the guiding force behind me each and every day I perform my real estate duties. I don't know how I was blessed to have had him as my mentor but it feels like I won the lottery. May his light shine like a beacon.

There are not enough words to express OUR loss! I always joked with Eddie and called him Chester Edwin, Eddie, Betty , Buddy, Larry, Kathy, Pat, Susan and all of his nieces& nephews treated my Family as one in the same. We cam e to Beaumont from Canada and I enrolled in Eddies school on 11th Street at the Board Office. Well from there Eddie not only taught me about Real Estate, he tought us the Southern Way! I will never forget when Eddie and I got in the car and left Beaumont and went to Ontario Canada , it was a trip i will never forget Family in Canada was so honoured to have Eddie with them. As I could go on and on We as a community and a industry lost a wonerful man and an ICON Chester Edwin we will always love and have happy prayers for you! Give Mom Dad and Larry our love
